Centennial Year Pilgrimage to Holy Land
All Saints’ Church has planned an amazing tour of the Holy Land, to take place in March 2012. There are still spots available on the trip, so if you are interested please contact the church office: 610-642-4098.
The One Hundredth Anniversary of our parish is an auspicious occasion. It is time to look forward in hope even as we look back in thanks for God’s goodness. Thus, even as we "drink deeply from the wells our fathers digged" we return to the very roots of our Faith, making vivid those scenes of the Old and New Testament, wherein “everlasting life is offered to Mankind in Christ.”
Our centennial anniversary trip to the Holy Land centers upon major Biblical themes and personalities. With the land as our classroom, with the Scriptures, archeology, history, geography, language and culture as our resources, we will travel in spirit into the religious, political and cultural environment of the patriarchs, prophets and kings. We will take special notice of the religious environment of our Savior’s ministry.
We anticipate a rich and rewarding program as we travel, learn and break bread together, with daily worship according to the Book of Common Prayer (1928). We pray a more-vivid understanding of our Lord Jesus and His Saints will inspire us to meet, with hope, the challenges of our second century as a worshipping fellowship.
