Activities

Sunday Adult Forum
Parlor, Sundays 11:30 AM

We continue to host representatives from ministries we support in our Outreach. Look for topical sessions during Lent and Eastertide.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study for Men
Parlor, Tuesdays 7:00 AM

The Men’s Study Group is a small group who gather for breakfast, fellowship, study and prayer. We choose what we study and take turns leading. We have studied Scripture and short works of theology. The meetings last an hour. New members are welcome.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Parlor, Wednesdays, 6:30 AM

This is the parish’s long-running Bible Study for men and women. We begin with prayers and grace over our light breakfast of coffee, juice and doughnuts. Then we dig into the biblical text in detail. We are not scholars; but we like to strengthen our faith with understanding and we like to deepen our understanding with devotion. Frequently we are given deeper insight into God’s Word, which also deepens our relationship with God in our daily living. New members are always welcome.

Thursday Morning Bible Study for Women
Parlor, Thursdays 10:45 AM

Sister Elaine, a professed member of the All Saints’ Sisters of the Poor and directress of St. Anna’s Home in Philadelphia, continues to teach the Women’s Bible Study. This very popular study is treasured by those who attend it and is commended to all women in the parish. Members are encouraged to attend the 10 AM Holy Communion in the Chapel as well. Please come and join us!

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild makes sure our Church and Chapel are prepared for worship through out the year. We are always looking to welcome seasoned altar guild members and those newly interested.

Office Aides

Monday through Friday our office is staffed by dedicated volunteers who answer phones, help with mailings and assist our clergy and office manager.

Flower Delivery

Following Sunday services, we deliver the gorgeous alter arrangements to parish shut-ins and hospitalized parishioners. This ministry is a vital way of including members of our church family who cannot attend regular services.

Sunday Refreshment Committee

Following our Sunday Services, the Refreshment Committee provides a love repast for parishioner to enjoy before Adult Forum. Teams are made up for the different weeks of the month and all are welcome to join.

Thrift Shop & Book Store

Our Parish Thrift Shop and Book Store support our Outreach ministries through their sales of gently used, donated goods. Open on Wednesdays, we are always looking for volunteers to sort, price and sell!

Women’s Christian Book Club

Meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, the WCBC brings together women interested in reading books and discussing books on Christianity.

Adult Christian Education

Through lecture series in the fall and Lent, Adult Education is a way to deepen one’s faith and fellowship within the parish. All are welcome.

Youth Education/Sunday School

Our Sunday school meets during the 10 AM service on Sundays. We focus on instilling Christian values and a love of traditional Episcopalian worship in our children. Children also take part in the services by receiving a Blessing at the Altar rail on Communion Sundays and attending the first half of Morning Prayers on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. The children also sing hymns at church luncheons and put on a very successful Christmas Pageant each year.

Parish Potluck

Held monthly at the rectory on the 3rd Sunday of the month. 5:00 PM
