EMBER SATURDAY (and Quiet Day)

Ember days are kept four times per year for special prayer and fasting specifically for clerical vocations, recalling that the apostles prayed and fasted prior to the laying on of hands in ordinations.  The ember weeks are the weeks after the first Sunday of Lent, Whitsunday (Pentecost), September 15, and December 13.

QUIET DAY: The Lenten Quiet Day will be held “virtually” with the observance of Ember Saturday. In-person worship will be allowed at Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer but our three talks (9:30 AM, 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM) will be Facebook Live only. Please put this date on your calendar.
