Following the original tradition of a two-week Passiontide, this Sunday marks the beginning of the church's remembrance of the Passion of our Lord. The second Sunday of Passiontide is more commonly known as Palm Sunday with an observance of a procession with palms and reading of the Passion. We beseech the, Almighty God, mercifully to look upon thy people, that by thy great goodness they may be governed and preserved evermore, both in body and soul, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
