WHITSUNDAY (PENTECOST)

7:40 AM MORNING PRAYER

8 AM HOLY COMMUNION

10 AM HOLY COMMUNION with Festal Choral Music.   Celebrate a most festive holiday often called the Church's birthday.  In English tradition, this Sunday is called WhitSunday, recalling the white color of liturgical vestments and altar hangings.  In other traditions, the color red recalls the fire of the Holy Spirit who descended on the first apostles resembling tongues of fire.  A most wonderful day in the history of the world.

11:30 AM Barbecue at the Rectory.  All are invited.  Meats and cold drinks are provided.  Please bring salad and dessert items.

Included in the service we will recognize the accomplishments of our Sabbath School students and the faithfulness of their teachers.
